Why Showing Up to Strikers Gym Matters

You can be athletes and still live normal lives

I want to take a moment to talk about why it’s so important for you to show up to Strikers Gym. This isn’t just a place to break a sweat and go home—this is a community where every single one of you matters. I genuinely care about each and every one of you, and I believe in your potential to become high-level fighters. You can be athletes and still live your normal lives. I’m not asking for a huge commitment, just for you to show up consistently.

When one of you gets better, we all get better

Your progress pushes others to step up their game. When you show up and put in the effort, it creates a ripple effect. Training with different partners helps you learn new techniques and improve faster. Seeing your teammates work hard keeps you motivated. We hold each other accountable here. The more you train with others, the more feedback you get. This helps you find areas to improve that you might have missed.

Unlike those big chain gyms that just want to sell as many memberships as possible and hope most people don’t show up, we’re different. At Strikers, we want you here. We’re a team, and every team member counts. We don’t overcrowd our gym. We make sure everyone gets the attention they need to improve. We’re more than just a gym; we’re a family. Your presence is what makes this place special. Our coaches are some of the best. They’re here because they love teaching and seeing you grow.

When you don’t show up or come inconsistently, it doesn’t just affect your progress—it affects everyone’s

Your training partners lose out on the chance to train with you, which can stall their own progress. Consistent attendance helps build trust and rapport within the team. Inconsistency can disrupt this dynamic. When everyone shows up regularly, we all stay motivated and accountable. Inconsistency weakens this support system.

When everyone shows up, the energy and motivation in the gym go through the roof

I know life is busy, but I’m asking for a minimum 2 hours of your time each week. That’s all it takes to see real progress and be part of something bigger. Even with just 2 hours a week, you’ll see a noticeable difference in your skills and fitness. Regular training helps you build good habits that benefit other areas of your life. When everyone shows up, the energy and motivation in the gym go through the roof.

At Strikers, we’re not just training fighters; we’re building a legacy

A legacy of hard work, dedication, and mutual support. Your commitment isn’t just about you—it’s about making all of us better. So let’s make a promise to each other: show up, put in the work, and support your teammates. Together, we can achieve amazing things. Remember, your progress is our progress. We’re all in this together.

With respect and determination,

Mitch Harding
